Support Cryonics Research Perhaps

¤

Cryonics is where humans are frozen after legal death with the intention of eventually being able to revive them at some later time once more advanced medical knowledge and technologies have been developed. This is a good technology and more individuals should support and/or conduct research into this novel and potentially life changing technology.

One could study a field related to cryonics at a university and then either join an organization which conducts or supports cryonics, conduct research on cryonics at a university or similar research setting, or else potentially find some other way to support and promote this as a useful and worthwhile technology.

In certain ways, cryonics has the potential to reduce or eliminate the unfortunate fact of death and dying on the Earth today. If more funding and human work hours went towards researching, utilizing and putting this technology into practice, then perhaps this Earth will become a better place for all humans to live.

Certainly not everyone could go into a field where they are able to conduct research about or support this technology. There are many other worthwhile fields and technologies that one can devote their time and energies to. Some of these include life extension research, aquaponics technologies and research, and more. It is perhaps good for humans to be conducting high risk research. Other areas of high risk research include things like faster than light travel and cold fusion. There is a potential that some high risk research may never pay off. However, because the potential pay off could be so high, it seems best for at least some humans to be conducting high risk research. Of course humans around the globe should work to have their basic needs met, but once this mostly happens, it seems that some of the energy of a society should be put into researching high risk technologies.

So cryonics is definitely a field that more individuals should put energy into with regards to research and promotion. Hopefully this technology will become more popular so that more humans can potentially live extraordinarily long and healthy lives. Hopefully, more individuals will work to support, promote, and research cryonics technology.
