More guns? More food? More technology? What does society need? More patience? More religion? More cars? Less pollution? Less marketing? More wikis? Less public transportation? More motorcycles? More solar power? More wind energy? More Bloom Boxes? More biofuels?

Maybe all of this. Maybe none. Oh well.

So what qualifies as improving society? Helping humans to be happier? Helping humans to be healthier? Empowering humans? Inspiring humans? Helping to increase the average human life span? Perhaps we should all think about this.

It appears the there is some optimism about Afghanistan. Iraq still seems largely quiet for the most part perhaps…

There is a lot of coordinated drone attacks in Pakistan is seems…

And Iran seems to keep digging itself in a deeper hole.

This year it seems shall be an interesting one.

And… the economy seems to be perking up a little bit…
